That 43% Teammates really stands out right next to the low PK %. To my eye test he’s been very good defensively but for whatever reason some of his offensive creativity has suffered for it. I’ve wondered if this is by design or because of the chaotic nature of Chairot. I have zero concerns of Mo continuing to get better and regaining some of the offensive flair we saw out of him last year.

It’s been obvious all season that his defense has been great, but that he’s getting dragged down by Chiarot and is constantly playing against the other team’s top players. He’s still our best defenseman and it isn’t close (no offense to Hronek).

Keep in mind that these numbers are still mostly based on last season. 82 games 21/22 + 38 games 22/23.
These numbers are 3 year averages. Not just how he’s doing this season.
I feel this is a little misleading as to how he’s actually fairing now. It’s actually much worse.
