#BostonBruins #Bruins #NHLHockey

Ian McLaren was posed an intetesting question on Twitter the other day: What would disappoint you more, not winning the cup or not re-signing David Pastrnak?

Let’s discuss!

Plus, it’s time for the Eastern Conference Power Rankings, where the Boston Bruins remain well ahead of the Carolina Hurricanes and Toronto Maple Leafs, with the Buffalo Sabres attempting to disrupt the wild card race.

  1. I would be more disappointed without signing Pastrnak, he is an amazing player, just a couple goals behind Connor McDavid right now, and I could easily see him getting better as time goes on. He’s on the younger side of our elite core, and giving up Pasta would be another step towards our team no longer being in playoff picture year after year.

  2. You can always win a Cup the next year, but losing Pasta … I don't know how you replace that production?
Guy is on pace for almost 70 goals, thats extremely hard to find on the market.

  3. Biggest disappointment is the team has 68 points pasta has 56 points and you have nothing to whine about so you made this video ..

  4. I’ve been a Bruins fan since 1974. I’ve seen them raise one cup. They have the best team in hockey. Let’s win it.

  5. If they can't sign him by the deadline they really have no choice but to trade him or risk losing him for nothing.

  6. Definitely would be more disappointed if they don’t win the cup, since there’s a chance we don’t see some of this Bruins core play next season at all. Either way, I love Pasta as a person so I can stomach seeing him have the success he deserves anywhere.

  7. 50+ years Bruins fanatic – 3 Cups – every ride has been awesome. We didn't use to talk about it after after New Years. I wonder if we're going to hear the "S" Cup word outta players from here on out? Its an ole tradition, not sure if it was my neighborhood, one team or franchise.

Pasta is one player, every team has one hotshot. Wants to be a Bruin for life along with – Bergie, Marchand, Krejci, (&Jake) Seems to make sense he'll stay with the #1 goalie in the league – Lindholm – Zacha and a depth team. He wanted a new coach, to play with #46, he has been accommodated.

Ullmark's the major game changer – not going to find a better goalie & coach combo than Ullmark & Goalie Bob. Linus is the silent hero that's keeping Pasta in Boston, and other elite players invested. Ullmark, Pasta, & Lindholm, even Monty, are going to be talent magnets for the next few years. Loyalty contracts based on bonuses. Might be the draw that keeps Bergie & Krejci playing. They're not slowing down – I see no reason for them no not return unless it's personal stuff.

And Pasta's counting on a lil Ratt!
