Sorry I don’t know if this belongs in the Armchair GM thread but I wanted to get thoughts on this absolutely psychotic lineup I put together where we get rid of a lot of our picks and prospects + Rielly. I know this is unrealistic but I’m curious if we think this is a better team than we have rn.

The idea of trading Rielly in the first year of his new 8 year contract in a time we’re looking at extending Matthews and Nylander, and the message that sends to them both, scares me.
The lineup is obviously dope though
You have Timo Meier and Travis Konecny on the third line, and swapped out Morgan Rielly for Jacob Chychrun. This is by far the best lineup in the entire league.
If we got rid of Knies to do this OP gets his GM card revoked.
Wouldn’t you want Meier on 2LW instead of 3LW?
We should totally do this provided we keep Knies and Niemela.
GD I don’t understand why people think Brodie is better than anyone let alone Reilly! Does anyone watch the games or just read the advanced stats? Probably the same people that liked Kaberle over McCabe
