Miller can do almost anything and is a big bodied power forward. He has a lot of value. Swiss pocket knife kind of guy. Any situation. Love a good pick. Miller is worth it, while picks are still a gamble. No such thing is a sure thing.
the rangers will get miller after they lose in playoffs
Canucks landed 2 4 picked Horvat for first round picks
Jt for David Pasternak?
I’m sure being married to Ray helps, but I hardly think that marriage is what gives her the ability to be a good judge of talent. The has some pretty good pedigree and wasn’t too shabby a player in her own right. IOTW love your vids man!
Mock trade:
To Devils: JT Miller (50% retained), Tyler Myers (35% retained) & Canucks 15th overall pick (Denton Mateychuk or Pavel Mintyukov, if they're available). When free agency comes around, the Devil's sign Filip Forsberg.
To Canucks: 2nd overall pick (Juraj Slafkovsky or Logan Cooley), a 2022 second round pick & Fabian Zetterlund.
Edit: Feel free to crucify me down below. lol
…Team Blades of Steel…
…hard to go to your girl…your boys…your mom…your dad…your friends…and say "I turned down the millions."…
They sign Miller
If J.T. is the comparable for J.T. then he's going to be making well over 11 million a year
I notice he said term. I think they have the money, the 9.5 it would take to sign him. But the term hopefully it’s reasonable like 6 years, 7 max
Mike yeeeooww
You can't afford to keep guys like Miller, as much as he's a great player and fan favourite. Smart GM's will sell high and buy low, and Miller is selling high. We should get a lot of assets back. One of the few good moves by Benning, but even a broken clock is right twice a day.
you know wat would be crazy if miller gets traded to devils for 2nd overall and a 2nd half salary retained then he goes ufa next yr and resigns with us
hope we trade myers for a extra second rounder even if we need to retain 1.5 mill frees up another 4.5 mill in cap need to trade dickinson and pearson for any pics clear out more cap
Id sign Miller to a 3 or 4 year deal for high salary. I just would not go for more term than that.
Good point in pointing out that Rutherford said two sides meaning Miller and Boeser, not the Canucks. I see the Canucks re-signing Boeser, but given Miller does not fit the competitive window for the core of this group, it just makes sense for them to ship Miller for hopefully a boat-load of assets, prospects, etc.
Mike "Yield"?….
Why would you want an executive that is going to tip their hand at their draft plan or any plans ? For that matter
Why not keep Miller and trade Boeser and Poolman? There's 10 million in flex space right there.
Hope we find a way to keep him and shed cap space in other ways myself. People seem to forget the train wreck the first half of the season was under Green and Miller still finished with 99 pts. And all this talk about this sharp drop in play that hasn't happened is just negative speculation. You look at the elite players that manage to stay elite well into their 30's and they all share one common trait, an other worldly competitive nature that keeps them driven. That my friends is not something that you can teach or force into a player. You have it or you don't. Miller in my eyes, wether you agree with me or not, has it.
Hear me out, trade Miller for the second overall pick. Draft slafkosky and sign kuzmenko our top 9 could be
Petey-slafkosky-boeser
Kuzmenko-horvat-podkolzen
Pearson-Dickinson-hoglander
Ok I think your videos are awesome. Cammi tho, is articulate, talented and skillfull without the mentioning of her husband. She is who she is and what she brings, period. Ray was the player I watched as an nhl team and had no direct connection for your analysis.
If the Devils trade the 2OA for a package with JT Miller as the centerpiece myself and other devils fans would be calling for Fitz's head. I cant see them doing that with younger options like Fiala being available, as well as Pasta, Nylander and DeBrincat possibly being available. Of the guys mentioned, the only one I'd wana see the 2OA move for is Pasta and there would need to be an extension in place. I know NJ would need more than just the 2OA to get Pasta and of the players mentioned, hes the least likely to move.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth innHim shall not perish but have everlasting life.
You didn’t give us much here
Excuse me… Granato doesNOT her husband to know the player. She’s a hockey hall of famer who knows hockey. Thank you
