[Ruff] Frederik Andersen, who has not played since November 6 due to a lower-body injury, will travel with the #Canes to Columbus today. When asked if he starts tomorrow, Rod Brind’Amour said, “Anything is possible. We’re definitely ramping him up.”

  1. thank fucking christ, pyotr and antti have clearly been struggling with an increased workload

freddie’s return should help them and of course we all know how good freddie can be when he’s on his game

How bad was his injury that he was out this long? It’s really crazy to me how long he was out and there were just no updates whatsoever. He’s been practicing for over a month now as well.

Surprised he’s not getting a conditioning stint with Chicago first

Kinda worried still. The start to his season wasnā€™t very great at all. Hopefully heā€™s back to pinballinā€™

  6. Antti and Pyotr can show streaks of greatness, but Freddie is clearly needed as a consistent starter with the others playing in as needed. When we got him everyone was talking about how injury prone he was and itā€™s really been frustrating to have that continue here. I love Raanta (see flair) but heā€™s really never been anything but a backup. Pyotr is a great prospect but heā€™s not there yet, as a starter at least. Overall, I donā€™t think we re-sign Freddie, but it would be really nice to have a healthy veteran goalie to anchor our rotation.

If he’s fully healthy, I’d let him play. The other goalies haven’t looked good the past few games. Maybe Kochetkov can go back to Chicago for a while to get his confidence level back up and work on some things that allowed a few goals recently.

Sending kooch back to Chicago is prob best. Seems like the pros are beginning to figure him out. Nothing he canā€™t work on and improve in Chicago.
