Despite boasting the top two points leaders in the league, the Oilers have dropped four of their last five games and are currently clinging to the final wild card spot in the West. Can Edmonton manage to find its groove in the second half of the season and make the playoffs? TSN Hockey analyst Martin Biron weighs in.

By my calculations they will or they won’t
Edmonton wont get a cup even if they do make the playoffs but i say no and if mcdavid wants a cup he better go to another team
You can essentially say the same thing about the flames.
Except the flames don’t have Connor Mcdavid..
Doesn’t mean the oilers won’t also miss, but this video should be more about how the flames will miss more than the oilers.
Good I gave Campbell the voodoo curse
Yeah I don't think this was ever in question. The Oilers have precisely zero percent chance of making the playoffs as long as they have Kane and Nurse on the payroll. If they can somehow manage to trade/buyout those two in the off season they have a shot at doing a partial rebuild in time for a cup run in a year or two. Until then, they much like their provincial rivals are complete non-factors for the forsee-able future.
Oilers suck
No they won’t. They struggle to score at 5 on 5, they don’t buy into a team defensive structure at all, & they have almost $20 million a year tied to nurse, ceci, & Campbell. Laughable.
Probably a wild card spot if they make but after that who knows what they can do
The Pressure is On Now😰😰
Who'd've thought this would still be a question at this point, especially in such a weak division? 😏
Yes they will make the playoffs. Better question is will the Avalanche make the playoffs.
The money being thrown at Nurse and Campbell is embarrassing.
Just like last year, right? 🤣🤣
The fact that they are even in danger of missing playoffs shows they do not deserve McDavid and Draisaitl
No, no they will not. One year closer to McDrai dipping outta that dump
Last year were in a very similar position with their record and standings at this point and still made the WCF
The NHL should move the Oilers from Edmonton: that joke of a city is the biggest problem with the organization (who really wants to live there?!?!?!?!).
It would be funny if they didnt
