I'm going to guess that his main aim on floor here was to get that pass named after him. With the fall, that wasn't going to happen and the rest of the routine… he looked tired. However, I think when he landed that double front kind of locked-legged, it probably stung a bit and he didn't feel comfortable risking the last pass.

i hope he gets another oportunity later to do it
I hope that he gets the gold in Paris in 2024 that he deserved in 2021 in Tokyo.
The FIG Men’s Technical Committee can give the skill a value – but not named after him in the Code because it had a large error.
Hopefully he will compete it again without the large error to get another named skill.
