Kings' Adrian Kempe Lasers One-Timer That Forces Jack Campbell's Glove Into Net For Goal

Watch as Los Angeles winger Adrian Kempe blasts a one-timer that seemed to be robbed by Jack Campbell, but after a long review it was determined that the puck crossed the goal line for team’s fourth powerplay goal of the night.

  1. No goal. Has to be conclusive but I’ve never seen a team as soft as Edmonton right now. We need more than just Kane if we wanna make the playoffs. Woodcroft looking kinda sus rn.

  2. Jack Michaels was going a little Jack Edwards there. It obviously crossed the line. Campbell’s entire webbing was over the line with a “black blob” in it. Wonder what it was…

  3. Ive watched this exact play in a STL CHI game nearly a decade ago not count as a goal. Like you can’t use logic to deduce if the puck is in, it’s either you see it over the line or you don’t

  4. 02:34 Yup. It's a goal. You see the puck and you see white ice between the puck and the goal line. Are these announcers blind?

  5. i thought this was ridiculous- he saved the puck, kempe didn’t get it in the net. only reason it ended up in the net was because soup fell back with the puck in his glove, regardless he caught the puck before it reached the line and saved it. why is it that someone can accidentally hit the puck into their own net, yet when a player does the same into the other team’s net, it’s a no goal? this puck went into the net in campbell’s hand. how is it that much different from the tampa bay no goal recently when the bolts played hit the puck into the net with his hand? i don’t know. none of these rules are clear enough and it’s like the refs just choose what they’re feeling based on who’s playing all the time. either way, this was a great save by campbell – his reaction time was wicked and he’s improved so much

  6. Both announcers are still on denial about that goal despite the clear overhead camera shows a goal.

  7. In terms of the nhl rulebook I don't think that was conclusive enough to say the puck went in. That's a no goal after review if it's not called on the ice

  8. I saw the puck in the close up and you can see the white ice through the webbing between the puck and goal line to prove the puck 100% crossed the goal line.

  9. That shot at the very end where they say they can't see the puck, I can see it, it's round and black in the webbing of the glove.

  10. Oilers broadcast is straight propaganda…biggest homers in the league. Kings broadcast had a better look that showed it was clearly in. SN doesn't want their viewers seeing that though

  11. I think this was a good goal… but based on the standard the NHL has used in the past this was not conclusive… there have been absolutely dumb obvious goals called back because there wasn't
"conclusive" proof it was over the line… nothing in this video would suggest that level of proof.

  12. Bullshit call, one of the biggest piss offs on the night.
Amazing effort by Campbell on that one, even the LA players gave him props.
