I Called Out A Gym Owner And He Threw Me On My Head

I stopped in at Intergracao to test myself at a new gym in Austin, Texas.

  1. I just realized that’s the ref on Who’s Number 1! I’ve always wondered, “if he’s the ref, he must be really good.”

  2. Getting tapped out is a good thing. Teaches us where we are content when we shouldn't be, and our shortfalls.

  3. You don't learn anything from winning dude and your first loss has loads of details for us to all learn from too

  4. Isn’t that dude one of the referees for the WNO tournaments???? He looks familiar. What a beast ! Great work to you as well man excellent video

  5. So you go from gym to gym “challenging” random blue belts and then put them on blast on YouTube while they’re just training like it’s any other Tuesday? Go compete if you think you’re worth watching. I’d say I’m glad you got humbled here but I don’t think that’s possible with you.

  6. I was wondering where did I see this guy before. Isn't he a main refree in "Who's Number One" on FloGrappling?

  7. Gabe is my professor. And yea this is par for the course rolling with him haha. I love it though! He's always teaching us really solid technique.

  8. I attended gabe’s gym for awhile, in Austin, Tx.
He’s a small dude but he feels like 300 lbs when he’s on you.
    Really awesome dude.

  9. In the last clip, the guy was so smooth, I love training with such partners. You know we both can go 100% but choose to keep it playful and creative

  10. It’s crazy how there’s so many levels to fighting. There’s always a bigger fish somewhere

  11. So when you roll with instructors is it pretty much agreed without saying, you go at 3/4 speed? Martins looks like he's more willing to commit strength to submissions at the right moment

  12. You get the Like, comment and additional watch time for all your corny but perfect self-deprecating jokes.

  13. Are wrist locks not allowed, or not known in BJJ? There are countless opportunities for you to put the clamp down via Ikkyo, Nikkyon, Sankkyo, etc…Your entire body against one of their wrists is precisely the mismatch you want. The apply RAPIDLY with a spiraling motion. None of this slow-mo flow crap. Snap down on the lock like an alligator and I 100000% guarantee the WILL TAP 100000% of the time 😉

  14. You need more explosiveness in your technique. Look at wrestlers, judoka, even aikidoka, they all throw, pin and lock using MOMENTUM and GRAVITY not just slow-mo flow. The floor is your friend and a weapon, so use it. Their soft skull on a hard mat is what you want. It worked on you right out of the gate and you were rolling scared for the rest of the round 😉 Using more dynamic movements is also the ONLY way a smaller person has a chance. This slow-mo, nearly static style of "rolling" only favors the stronger (more geared up) person. SPEED KILLS….so use it 😉
