If I am Montreal we need to consider all options!
The Canucks should just start all over again, and just get rid of all their assets for draft picks and prospects. The problem with them is they have players with huge contracts they can't get rid of, so they should trade an asset with one of those contracts. For example, trade Hughes to the Devils, but the catch is the Devils have to take OEL or Myers along with Hughes…. that's the only way to get rid of those ugly big contracts, but that's what they need to do.

They could get what 2 1sts for Kuz. Trade away the players that can get a decent return and tank. Chicago and Anaheim are in prime position to land Bedard, because they made the call to blow the team up. The Canucks always seem to be in this mindset of Oh if this goes right and we get one or two more players we will be a contender. Its not realistic to think this team is anything but a fringe team – bottom feeder. The Canucks need to be stripped down to the frame or the rust is gonna eat the whole vehicle.
