This is getting harder and harder to watch
On the 2nd goal Boqvist is planted in front of the net slamming his stick for a pass. Also taking it below the net numerous times. Either get him on the Werenski training path or get off defense.
I’m so sick of being dog shit. I can handle losing when we’re entertaining or playing decent hockey but this year has just been so shit. I’m to the point I’m struggling to even see a light at the end of the tunnel, there’s just so little positive to take from each game

I know he can’t help it but Blankenburg gets hurt way too much. Feel sorry for the guy but durability is important for a lengthy career. If I remember, he was also hurt during the Worlds last spring. Bummer!
Those last few minutes, the team was struggling to make even the most basic of passes.

I want Brad to take the worst season in franchise history and leave forever
The TOI tonight for forwards when playing 7 D is inexcusable. I don’t care if there was a lot of special teams time. Get Brad the fuck out. We can tank all we want but this is not tanking the right way. No wonder players never want to stay here. This is the type of season that can derail players entire careers.
Feel like every time I check NHL scores, the Blue Jackets lose by 4 goals
The refs did a terrible job.
Might be a hot take but as much as I want Bedard on the team, this fan base is feeling very Cleveland Browns with him because even if we get him, our defense won’t magically become better.
This is one of those games that I’m gonna remember when our team is doing really good. Probably not this season at this rate. Maybe next season. Maybe the season after. Very hard to watch our performance tonight. But I have faith that things will get better sooner than we might think. When you’re at the bottom like we are right now, there’s nowhere to go but up, right? So I’m gonna keep watching the games, cheering our team on, even it’s hard at times. I have faith that all the bullshit we’ve been through, the sloppy play, bad coaching, subpar officiating, etc, will not be for nothing. Our reward could be Bedard. Or we could end up on a different path. Either way, I believe the best is yet to come.

I hope these players have the mental capacity to reframe their minds to a winning culture a few years from now. I get that we’re rebuilding and looking for a top draft pick, but man… I’d be mentally exhausted getting spanked by more than three goals in these types of games. Everything looks so hopeless for them rn.
