Exciting game for Subban! Love to see it. Caufield’s on pace for 50 and Drouin had a great game, three assists. Nice to see Slaf get some late-game time as well, he seemed to be buzzing around the ice with some good energy.

About time they had some feel-good game. A high draft pick is still the goal, but these sort of games are just what they need to get through a tough season.

Great game for Drouin. Ylonen was really impressive. Caufield 2 goals, Dach 2 points, Slaf 15 mins of ice time and out there with the net empty. I’m fully team tank but it’s always fun to watch the future core get us a win.

I always forget how fun it is to watch a good hockey game.

    *GOOD*

    – If PK came out every game the Habs would be cup contenders lol. In a way, it’s exactly what the Habs needed a little energy and that certainly fired them up.

    – Caufield with two goals and once again it’s just nice to have an elite sniper, and an elite sniper that is near the top of the league in goals.

    – Drouin has been playing well lately. Adds 3 assists tonight and generally looked engaged.

    – Dadonov continues a string of stellar play. Some of his puck decisions are quite baffling but overall playing well.

    – Evans getting rewarded for his hard work. I thought he probably should have finished that breakaway but nice to see him get one on the night.

    – The powerplay helping the Habs to a win?

    – Montembault held the line.

    – Ylonen looks like a solid bottom line player. Great vision on the Dach goal.

    – Slafkovsky

    *BAD*

    – Edmundsun hasn’t had it on the year and as much as I do appreciate the player I hope he can fetch a first with the whole previous cup winner thing. He was suspect again tonight.

  6. Slaf may have not gotten a point but that was one of his best games. Fun to watch.

  7. letsdo30

great for morale not great for tank can’t have it all

  8. Beefiest_bison

With 2 points tonight, Dach ties his career high (26 points) in 28 less games

  9. SlapThaBass

I’ll triple low five every one of you tonight.

  10. Olibro64

PK should visit the Bell Centre more often.

PK is good luck for the Habs and the city of Montréal and this single game and win proves it and I won’t listen to any other explanation

Good team effort all around. They’re still a train wreck in their own end and I don’t see that getting better this year but CC got a couple, Slaf played well and Suzy seems back on track. Also Drouin played well. Nice to see.

  13. Temper your expectations on Drouin y’all. It was three secondary assists and the primary player made the play happen all three times. Hope it gives him a boost in confidence or whatever but I’ve seen this one before.

Who else is staying up to watch the Panthers lose?

  15. This is the best game I’ve ever watched in person. Then again I haven’t been to a lot, but that was fun.

I’m sleeping on beating a tired preds squad, did we win 2 in a row or 3 of 5 yet?

  17. Kidhendri16

    EVERYBODY played well tonight, everybody.

  18. Kidhendri16

We have lost so many games due to special teams and they won us the game tonight

  19. Shifty_Pickle826

This is the best I’ve felt as a fan since Lehkonen sent us to the final

  20. Borth321

nice game but the 2 points from the win will hurt us more
