Really nice win all-around. Vladar has earned some more starts.
Missed this game and the boys finally got a solid W. Guess I’m never watching hockey again

Ah the sweet relief of a multi goal win.
That’s a big 2 points. Solid bounce back game.
It is entirely based on the eye test but last year I had so little faith in our ability as a team to come back when we were down. This year, I worry about scoring but I don’t worry about the effort most nights and that’s a net win.
Just play Vladar
Last game the boys were trying too hard to giver’ but all they had to do to win was Duehr.

Dear Sutter: just play Vladar all day, every god damn day.
Nhl.com rewarded Coleman’s assist to Toffoli instead of Backlund. How does that even happen? How does Toffoli have 2 assists and Backlund get nothing.
We got 3/4 points and the blues got 2/4 points. I’m fine with limping into the playoffs because once we are there, anything can happen. As long as we get there, and I truly believe we will, we’re good to go. In Sutter I trust.

Back to our most beloved tradition, spending more time than the save on foods dad trying to figure out Darryl’s deal. Will he play Vladar next time? It is a mystery.
Not to just keep drilling on Markstrom, but it shows the difference when you have competent goaltending. The Blues had a ton of great chances

Vladdy Daddy needs to play more, full stop. I could be totally off base here but the team seems to play a little freer with him between the pipes, helps when you have a rock solid presence back there (still love you Marky)
We win alot more with Vladar. Period.
The Avs are currently losing to the hawks, not going to say it makes me feel better about losing to them, but it makes me feel better about losing to them.
Vladar has got to be the starter for the foreseeable future. Gotta feel like we’d be on a 3 game win streak if he had been in net to start this road trip.

Setting aside everything else for a minute, I have been watching the NHL for over 40 years and would like to think I know what an NHL starting goalie should look like. I only see one goalie on the Flames that looks like that, and his name starts with a V.
I know that not every goal is Markstrom’s fault, but you expect an NHL starting goalie to be able to make the big save when you need it, and I just don’t see that most nights.
Did they try to “country road” us? At around 7:17 left in the 3rd???
I called a 6-2 blues win. Glad I was super wrong on this. The guys played a hard game. Hopefully they keep it going.
