Red Wings Beat the Toronto Maple Leafs for the 1st Time This Decade! | Lucas Raymond Has 3PTS

For the 1st time this decade the Red Wings have beaten the Toronto Maple Leafs, it is also the first regulation win over Toronto since 2017. This was an all around solid performance by Detroit, despite being out shot and out shot-attempted, the Wings had the majority of the High Danger oppurtunities and capitilized on them. While the Wings played shut down defense in their own zone (for once). The top line of Bertuzzi-Larkin- Raymond dominated as Larkin had 2 assists, and Ryamond had a goal and 2 assists. Jake Walman and Moritz Seider continue to develop stellar chemistry as well, each getting a point in this one (Seider a PP goal to seal it). Both Fabbri (PPG) and Chiarot (ENG) scored as well. Husso was lights out allowing just one goal on 33 shots. #lgrw

  1. Wings played extremely well, beat the Leafs & they also played a completely 60 & special teams connected. That’s 2, make it 3

  2. If vrana comes back and is in good form and zadina too. Fuck we. Could be a playoff team

  3. Nice to see the Wings gave you guys a reason to he happy. I'm hoping they can beat Colombus. If they want a shot at the playoffs, you have to beat Colombus.

  4. I've been defending Chiarot for weeks and I didn't think this was that special a game for him. I feel like the average person remembers a few big hits and that he scored a (lucky) goal and give him credit because those things are noticeable. He's played better games where he hasn't been noticed, as a defenseman often won't be.

  5. Probably one of the teams best games of the year, following their worst. Game should not have been that close though. (Lack of genuine goal scorers and Samsonov)

  6. Hey guys just to be clear, are those heat maps shown as on ice? Like the it says leafs shot attempts on 'their" side of the ice. So if their logo is under it is that our shots or their's? It confuses me because I see the logo and assume that's the opposite teams shots consider they'd shoot them in their zone. Am I making sense?

  7. Glad to see The top line back together. They play great together which creates momentum and energizes the whole team to step up and maintain quality pressure

  8. Chiarot had the best game of his Red Wings tenure, until the broadcasters talked about it then he immediately fracked up. Also, Fabbri looks as good or better than he ever has.

  9. Fabbri looks like he's gained a step. I've never seen him this good.

  10. Totally different look with Bert and Fabbri…all lines improve…however, Copp looks to be a major bust at this point unfortunately.
