Today we’re going over Kyle Dubas’ recent press conference, wherein he noted how the Toronto Maple Leafs would be willing to trade one of their top NHL prospects for forward support heading into this year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs, and that he’d prefer a rental scenario.

With this, a discussion arises with the top prospects of the Leafs: Nick Robertson, Rodion Amirov, Timothy Liljegren, and potentially Rasmus Sandin. Let’s talk about these players, and the Leafs’ situation as a whole.

  1. I heard that they were interested in picking up LA kings forward Alex Iafallo witch as a kings fan myself don’t like, unless we get a Defense prospect.

  2. I’d be careful if I was toronto because unless they think they have a really really good shot I would not trade future. Because if they do they have only certain amount of years before they would have to change up

  3. I think we’re forgetting how cheap rentals really are. You’re getting the player for a couple months then they’re gone. To include any of those Leafs prospects, it would have to be some sort of package with good picks coming back

  4. Leafs need: Bertuzzi, Woods, Foligno, type players. Leafs don't need skill! skill isn't everything look at the Ducks with Selane that never won the cup, that team had the most skill.

  5. You should make a video about Chicago Blackhawks willing to take a bad contract and talk about what could come back in return!

  6. Perhaps, a Ryan Reaves for a 4th or 3rd? Hes a team player and will protect, he could help build momentum

  7. If leafs are trading any of those top prospects, then the player better be Jack Eichel Level. For a rental they better be the best of the best. I completely disagree with this dumb idea.

  8. Vancouver Canucks will miss him yet think Lou Eriksson should have a chance to lift the cup ..Your welcome Toronto
