  1. I think the trade should happen between chychrun and vilardi. Virlardi should get another chance on a team cause la have a lot of spots taken on the roster but idk

  2. Chychryn at Philly for Travis SANHEIM and prospect Morgan Frost or Bobby Brink Let's go Flyers , you have to give something the Flyers have a bounch of right Wingers in the système🏒

  3. Rangers could definitely beat that garbage offer no doubt I would even trade Ksppo straight up that’s how down I am on him but they would have to take salary back to match no free lunch

  4. Kings fan here. Love your vids Gio. I’d add a 2nd rounder, but not a 1st, along with Bjornfot and Vilardi. I doubt any team will match that. Get it done Blake!

  5. LA has a serious logjam on RD and a weakness on LD so it’ll be a right shot defender going back. Durzi’s value is at an all time high so I wouldn’t be upset with moving him especially considering that Jordan Spence and Brock Faber look like shoe ins for NHL spots and that’s not considering Clarke. I could see a package of Turcotte/Vilardi, Grans/Durzi, a B tier prospect (Madden, Thomas, Pinelli, Simontaival) and a top ten protected pick.

  6. Vilardi, Lias Anderson, Ollie Matta and a second for Chychrun. PULL THE TRIGGER BLAKE!!😂

  7. I'm a huge kings fan I would hate to lose Vilardi. I'd be happy to trade Lias Anderson Ollie Matta Tyler madden I c just can't see him cracking the team and 2nd round pic

  8. Although I agree with everything you said, I think the kings should pull the trigger. The market for a top pairing LHD is scarce and the kings won’t see major production from their prospects for a while

  9. I'm not ready to see Gabe go to Arizona. Can't deny our defense and powerplay unit needs improvement though. sigh

  10. Love the vids Lego! The issue is cap. Kings have 1.2 free and JC is a 5.6 hit. Even with maata (4.1) that's still some cheddar needed to make this happen. I'd say GV, Maata, Lizotte/Grundstrom, a first and second for JC and a conditional(if we make the playoffs)4/5th. Keep in mind Maata isn't really value for AZ as he will be RFA end of season and I'm sure they will let him go. The package is really GV, Grundstrom/Lizotte and the picks. Question is will that get it done?

  11. should also mention that the main reason vilardi was sent down was to transition to wing since the kings have a log jam of centres. just wanna see byfield play with vilardi for a couple games in the nhl if we do end up sending him to the yotes 😕

  12. Kakko and trading our Shedding $5M in contracts would rather pay JC than Kakko only thing I can do with Kakko is hope somebody gives him an offer sheat and take the picks

  13. Chychrun could develop into a norris candidate in LA, plus LA can really afford to lose some prospects and picks.
I would definitely do it. Would be a win-win-trade

  14. 2022 1st round pick (lottery protected), 2023 2nd round pick, Alex Turcotte, Helge Grans, and Sean Walker

Kings should hold on to Vilardi and deal a guy like Turcotte instead if possible. The trade proposal above would be a slight overpay IMO but would be worth it.

  15. As a Kings fan I want the tigger pulled on this trade now. I’d also wouldn’t mind somehow getting Kessel too to add some veteran scoring but not sure if it would work with the cap.

  16. I have more hope for Gabe Vilardi than I have for Alex Turcotte. I would rather see Turcotte go in this trade.

  17. Chychrun is not Eichel, but the market dictates as such. LA can afford to overpay emphasizing their farm. The key is how do you trade for Chychrun and then trade for an elite forward and still have a great farm system.

Kings need to keep an elite from each position. Byfield has to be an elite NHL player. Brandt Clarke has to be an elite NHL player. Therefore they have to be considered untouchable and Grade A prospects. If neither are elite then they need to get very lucky in the next couple drafts.

What they have a plethora of, and they need to trade them, is B prospects such as 2nd and 3rd line players. Turcotte is a massive piece that should be parlayed into trading for an elite forward because he is A/B prospect and still has value but that value will diminish.

They have waaaaay too many B prospects so they need to package those for deals like these NOW while their value is high. They also have every draft pick for the next three years so they won't be sacrificing their farm to do so. They will grab more B prospects in the coming drafts.

LA has a fantastic line in danault, arvidson, and moore. But they have the farm system and assets to trade up to make them a third line which would be gross. THAT should be the new direction to bet on and they should establish that as soon as next season. Kopitar is only getting older as well as doughty.

  18. Kings don't need a defenseman. It could happen, but LA is looking for a temporary 3rd line center. Byfield is still a year or 2 away from being a top producer.

LA's defense has been rated in the top 10 in the NHL all season long. They also lead in most transition metrics as well. This is with Walker being out all season and DD being out a good chunck of the first 1/4 of the season.

They also have a lot of depth on D in Ontario and talents like Brock Faber and Brandt Clarke in the prospect pool. Moverare has been leading not only the Reigns D in shot differential metrics but practically the entire Reign team for a few years.

LA is too deep on defense although they are really loaded with right handed D it might be possible they could trade a right handed asset for an equal left handed asset but Vilardi would be expensive for LA.

I think this is the 1st season LA has groomed Vilardi to play on the wing permanently and the hope is he'll be ready as a winger at the same time Byfield comes into his own as a center.

Sorry if that's kind of long winded. Lol

  19. Really good video! You give me hope for the trade to happen haha. As a Kings fan. Personally, I would happily trade Vilardi Bjornfot and a first round pick for Chychrun. It'll hurt to see Bjornfot go. But Vilardi is going to explode onto the scene where ever he goes. He needs a fresh start and frankly I think he deserves it. I am biased as I love big trades like this. Chychrun has term, three years left after this season. He's only 23 years old. With Doughty as a leader in the locker room and on the ice, and Durzi coming out of nowhere, Chychrun would be in a great place learning from Doughty on and off the ice and some friendly competition with Durzi over goals. Oh man it'd be great to see!

  20. Lias Andersson, Gabriel Vilardi, Samuel Fagemo, 1st and 2nd is a fair package. It sounds like a lot but that’s the kind of package that will get it done. I don’t mind parting with players like Vilardi because we have so many great forward prospects, Chychrun is literally only one year older than Vilardi and already is a star it’s a trade that has to be done

  21. Gabe Vilardi, Alex Turcotte, Jordan Spence & 2nd rounder for Chychrun.

Doughty, Chychrun, Durzi, Bjornfot, Anderson and Maatta would be solid.

  22. Would love to have Chychrun but it will cost the kings a lot more than just Gabe. Gabe, a 1st and Bjorn are probably the starting pieces to start talking.

Can you imagine LA Kings Defensemen: DD, Chychrun, Durzi and Clarke? Damn talk about puck movements

  23. I'm a Kings fan and it's been a long process of rebuilding again and changing coaches and GM's since the glory years but Dean Lombardi did the same thing but once he felt the team was ready he pulled the trigger on some massive trades Carter,Richards,Gaborik, etc so it feels like it might be too soon now but the addition of P.Danault & the production from his wingers has accelerated the process plus Byfield is on the roster and Lizotte makes it difficult to get rid of him. So Vilardi is definitely expendable at this point.

  24. A little late to the party here, but I 100% support moving Vilardi as part of a package for Chychrun. I believe Vilardi will be subject to waivers next year and it seems that he is the odd man out up the middle. Chychrun seemingly makes this team better now than Vilardi/Bjornfot do a couple of seasons from now

  25. I would pay a high price for him. Norris candidate at age 23 😮 I would package Monahan, Valimaki, Pelletier and a 3rd for Jacob chychrun
