Watched this one. He was a net front beast all night (every night really), had a nice screen on their first goal too. This kid loves to park it in the paint and tip pucks and hunt rebounds. He had a nice one the game before this too where he collected a rebound at the right side of the goal and spun it into the other side. His skating needs some work, and his release probably needs to be faster at the pro level, but his game is one we could use more of.

Also too: Viljami Marjala (great name) continues to destroy the U20 SM-sarja. Had a goal yesterday in (I think) his return to that league from Liiga (where he had 4GP 1-1-2). At the U20 level he’s tied for the league scoring lead at 24GP 16-27-43.
I’ve been missing prospect talk around here (that isn’t centered on the guys in Roch), so I thought I’d share.

Love Nadeau, kinda player the Sabres need in their bottom six. Guy who’s not afraid to get into the dirty areas, especially in front of the net. I’d like to see him in Rochester next season.
