The Cult of Hockey's “Dominant Oilers stomp stumbling Sharks” podcast
Let’s do this! The Cult of Hockey podcast. By the Faithful and for the Faithful, tonight with Bruce McCurdy and David Staples. They dig into Edmonton’s 7-1 win over the Sharks of San Jose.
McDavid has 37 goals. Given team has played 44 games he could possibly reach 50 which would be a bit much. Seems the coach should be cutting down his ice time so others are more equal – let others have the goals
Hopefully the Oilers can take the lessons learned by playing against weaker teams and carry if forwards. They have to make the playoffs. We are about to get the KANE BOOST.
Condolences to your family Bruce, you can take comfort in a life well lived. My only critique would be that maybe Woody could of rewarded Kostin and Holloway with a few more minutes. An opportunity to get the players rolling with more confidence. Broberg solid and seems more confident earning more time on ice.
Condolences Bruce, maybe the Oilers will give Ron another win tonight. David, I honestly have never seen anyone who is sick as often as you. I am not trying to be condescending but have you had your blood work done specifically for the immune system, and or considered supplements? The best thing about these last two games is balanced ice times. To bad Jack couldn't nab the shut-out but he did look much better.
My condolences to you and your family, Bruce. Yep, Dave, I agree with you that nuge is finally pushing back and not letting the younger players push him around anymore. Once again, it was a great podcast ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐
Desharnais makes Kostin look short. Nurse not showing up in the highlights is a good thing. Hope he keeps that up. Ok, he can show up occasionally if the highlight is in the O-zone.
Hey Bet-Man, when you gonna realize Canadian fanbases can tolerate the rebuilding part of the cycle much better than most Murrican fanbases? SJ has hit that part of the cycle where other teams might trade away draft picks to pay the Sharks to take bad contracts off their hands.
Love to hear praise for Ryan Nugent-Hopkins! His penalty kill is amazing, his power play is amazing, and his five on five play is now also consistently amazing. Our much beloved veteran star is finally coming into his own. ๐

Oilers fans all hyped over a win over the Ducks and Sharks ๐คฃ…..face it…. NO PLAYOFFS FOR EDM THIS YEAR. WORST DEFENSIVE TEAM IN THE NHL
Bruce thoughts and prayers to you and your family on the passing of your father in law.
Please quit the crap with BroBERG. Not Broberry. It has not caught on so give it up already. Is it Forrsberry? Is it Zetterberry?

Sending positivity and warm wishes to the McCurdy family! Thanks for giving us Bruce!
The Jack & Debrusk should call the plays and leave out all the extra talk about stuff we already know. W.T.F. ?
