I’m not too surprised that LA was the better team tonight since we played last night and they didn’t. Fortunately for us, Blackwood had a good game and Quick was bad.
NHL scheduling is just dumb. You should never have a rested team playing a tired team.
5 out of 7 in January so far, that’s that good shit.

Blackwood playing this way in 9 of 10 starts is what we thought he could do before all of the injuries etc. Still possible he can become more consistent. He has a very high ceiling.

* I feel like the big question is what we do about lines and who stays and who goes when Nate is back. I mean I guess the obvious answer is putting the BMW line together, and then we have Haula, Mercer, and who? Zetterlund? Boqvist? Holtz? (Although I think Mercer belongs with Jack and Tatar can be on the third line, but Tatar is showing his worth in the top six from time to time, so I won’t be unhappy about that.)
* January can end up being a really really good month for us to collect points.
