I listen to you every morning and my girlfriend is becoming a bit more insightful about the kings. I’ve been a fan since 88 when I was 8, I’m 42 now, but my girlfriend isn’t a sports follower but you have definitely helped her follow the kings a bit more. Other than me yelling at the TV. Keep up the great work dude.
Great show, as alway! love hearing points of view from different Kings fans, because as you say, opinions are okay to have, even if we don’t agree with them. I understand the need for patience for younger players, but QB was picked no. 2 and not Kempe no. 29 and Boyle no. 26. That's a big difference. I'm hoping he starts playing like he belongs in the NHL sooner than later.
Boyle asked for a trade he wanted more opportunity to play in the NHL left with no animosity. Byfield is getting exactly what I thought Villardi should have got, big minutes playing with an ALL WORLD talent in Kopitar, the skill is there he's made some really nice plays and hasn't converted and hasn't made a ton of mistakes, he's building confidence and learning how to play the right way.
A jersey I would love to see on the ice was the Y2K warm up jersey from the new years eve game, the covid shortened season, the lion on a Forum Blue jersey just a beautiful jersey.
I live in Canada and I am a long time kings fan and it rots me that all hockey stations mostly talk about Canadian teams and some American teams but hardly anything about Kings or Anaheim or sharks they should talk about all teams to a certain extent fairly but mostly always talk about the leafs and the leafs and the leafs blah blah it sucks but as always GKG 💯
You could say Olli Jokinen was a high draft pick that the Kings gave up on too soon. Then again, we used him to get Ziggy Palffy who put up some great seasons.
We do have a winning record with Lemmy in the line up. He gives his all and the locker room has accepted him into the fold as one of their own.
Don’t think I’ve ever commented on YouTube. But I have such an appreciation for Eddie putting out this content. I don’t know anything about Locked On but I appreciate you’re unwavering dedication to talking hockey for over half my life. You make my commute better, my workday better, and you make my experience watching hockey and being a kings fan for 16 years better. Thanks Eddie, keep on keeping’ on.

Looks like he looking for something that has never happened on your show ( stats as main content)and likely will not.
What you offer is some pretty nice analysis and of course it's from a kings fan's perspective but in spite of that you offer some fair analysis.
Keep up the good work, you can't possibly please everyone.

Thx Eddie for another great video on the Kings & espec Byfield. Yanetti to this day regrets letting 1st rounder Derek Forbort get away for nothing as he eventually developed into a solid NHL player for other teams. And I agree 100% with you regarding Byfield just needs more time & experience to develop into a star forward. Kemp got real good at age 24-25 & Vilardi this year at 23 yrs old. QB will be very good by 21-22, imho. Also don't give up on Turcotte, as long as he stays healthy, will prob not be a star or superstar but should be solid NHL player. Blake, pls put QB as 3C with Fiala on left & Vilardi on the R, that would be xlnt line. Also agree that Lemieux isn't productive enough.
