UPL was good… then not good… then closed it when they needed the BIG saves. Buffalo needed that win!
Sabres were being bombarded last 2 mins too many icings with man advantage tired players Granato take a timeout rest your tired players teach ur players stop icing the puck creates high grade scoring chances depending on your goalie . Teach develop educate your players

My goodness if Powers could score. He has had so many great scoring chances in the last 4 or 5 games. This game had me stressing the way we let them score in back to back shots 40sec apart to tie it at 3. We had so many odd man chances

I have always had a soft spot for Nashville as they compete really well with a fairly mediocre roster, Buffalo take note. Really solid win in there building but hot damn the Sabres need to stay on the road as they can't seem to catch a cold at home. You can't gamble on them because they are impossible to predict! 😊

At the Half Way mark with a win. Happy w/ the 1st half, lots of room for improvement. If we go 10 games above .500, say 25-15 in the 2nd half, that will give us close to 100pts and will be a success in my mind. Go Sabs !!
Granato working his magic again with scratching Quinn and Peterka to give them a breather, then bring them back up and they immediately contribute. Also great to beat those obnoxious Nashville fans who do nothing but taunt the entire game.
