I’ve seen someone loose a eye at a Rochester Americans game. Those pucks hurt.

I was playing in a game where someone took a lapper to the side of the head when a teammate was trying to clear high off the glass on a man down and went unconscious and into a medically induced coma.

I’m sure he’ll be fine relatively speaking. Bit of a nasty gash but he walked out pretty stoically. Head wounds just bleed more. I was sitting 10-12 seats away. Sucks that he got hit though. With the string of recent incidents one wonders if they need to do more to protect fans from pucks.
