Should’ve traded him & his over-inflated ego a couple of seasons ago.

Maybe its time to stop forcing players to be a part of social movements. You can’t legally compel them to wear something that infringes on their religious beliefs and knowing how conservative some players are, this was bound to happen.

The NHL is getting a bunch of bad PR because they wanted to virtue signal. Rarely do these special nights actually contribute to these various communities anyways. Everyone knows it a marketing ploy.

I don’t mind him doing so, but there’s bigger things he should worry about, like being a decent defenseman.

Let him do what he wants to do. Who cares?

What incident were they asking him about?
Edit: Nevermind I figured it out

Even though he doesn’t play on my team, I respect Provorov as a player. Now I respect him as a man

Maybe Provorov could ask DeAngelo how this worked out for him?
DeAngelo lost a whole year playing the same games. But congrats to DeAngelo for finding a team to overpay him. Canes couldn’t unload him fast enough.
But guess that’s success for DeAngelo if the focus is money and never being anywhere near the Stanley cup.

We’re all free to love who we love, but when it becomes “praise my lifestyle or else” … That doesn’t go over well.

I dont give a shit about his religion go on the ice
Flustered-Flump
Ahhhh…. The “I’m a shitty person because god tells me to be” rationalization.

Bro who tf cares quit making players be involved in these social movements besides it’s a bad pr look in a struggling pr league

i’m very glad that he chose to be true to himself and not feel obligated to support something that contradicts his beliefs. it’s genuinely saddening and infuriating that so many people see people like him and assume he’s homophobic. he doesn’t hate gay people just to hate gay people (in fact, i truly doubt he feels any resentment towards the LGBTQ+ community), he has his own personal reasons, and that’s respectable.
TL;DR – nothing burger, will be forgotten in a week.
