I ref hockey and I wouldn’t have given and goal tender interference defender was preventing him from cutting in front of the net like he wanted, what’s he supposed to do give up a scoring chance bc he might get pushed into the other teams goalie by their own player

I wish the NHL wasn't so woke. I'm not saying by any means that women aren't capable of being broadcasters. As long as they know what to say and when to say it that's the main importance but realistically it's not the same. The knowledge may be there but what's lacking is the energy and intensity behind their voice when explaining what's happening

There was a time when if a player (rarely) plowed a goalie like that, no matter what the stupid excuses made for doing it these days, there'd be blood for it later.
