    I would take any player from the 90's over any player in the league today. The Mail Man is in my top 10 and would be one of my starting 5

    I miss the old NBA. Each team had their champion and Karl was ours. It was a privilege he gave so much to Utah.

    Utah had a deep team vs the bulls, they just did play good enough to beat them at the time.

    between him and Barkley…. stop it with duncan.. he was a center.. period.. i dont care what they try to say in order to push him up the line. he was a center.. they called him pf because he came to a team with robinson and he actually played center the majority of his career but when you call him a center he cant crack the top 5 or maybe 7 or 8 but call him a pf then all of a sudden he is up against 2 guys that couldn't beat mj and a guy who almost mirrored him during their career but with far fewer rings so all of a sudden abra cadabra he is the best pf ever.. still love the guy and he was awesome and im pissed the celtics didnt win the rights to draft him but he is a center first

    Many said he'd been injury free all throughout his career
    except his last season in LA.
    But it wasn't necessarily true. The truth was he played anyway no matter he got injured or not. Everytime the Jazz team doctor tried to X-ray his injured body, he refused and said he would go out there and play anyway. He puts more lay-ups and jumpshots when he was ankle injured. He knew how to still score when he was not in 100%. (Well, Derrek Coleman did not want to play because he got broken toe-nail.)
    Too bad Malone got worst extensor tendon injuries on 2 finders of his shooting hands during the Finals with Chicago. He just taped them and went out to play. But his shooting percentage including the crunch free throws could not be the same. Still no complaint. No execuse. He went to the Bulls bus to congratulate them. This says what kind of guy he really was.

    Glad to see Gary agrees with me, Karl is the best Power Foward ever. Better than Duncan. Tim Duncan is criminally overrated and Karl Malone is criminally underrated.

    I saw Clyde Drexler being interviewed on the GOAT the other day, and he argued for my position. It's the wrong question. Wilt, Bill, Kareem, Magic, Karl, Tim, J, Steph, MJ, Lebron — they are all in the discussion and they all enjoyed advantages and obstacles that make the debate pointless. Is it championships? Well then it's Bill. Points and Rebounds? Flair? There are a lot of guys I rate very very high who never get in the discussion and others who are clearly overrated.

    I don't consider rings an individual achievement, so I never bought the Duncan over Malone argument. Tim was better on defense and Karl on offense–way better, so I put Karl on top for power forwards.

    Karl gives you a little taste of what Lebron would have done in that era. Lebron is the closest to Karl in build, but way better at passing, dribbling, and scoring.
