Ivan Provanov should be free to do what he wants.
Provorov has the right to do what he believes in. Does he hate LGTBQ people….of course not. But HE has religious beliefs that we all have to respect as well. Its a two way street. I would never shun a player or person for their sexuality. Get over this. Its not news!!

OEL is awful probably one of the worst contracts out there. I don't even understand how he got that contract in the first place. Bruce was an amazing coach last year and I can't believe how fast he turned that team around. Pretty much kept the same defense core and made our 3rd and 4th lines weaker. That being said the Kuz, and Mik were really good pick ups and signings. As you can tell the players are the issue in Vancouver. First Green who did suck as a coach, but now your blaming Bruce. Someone needs to lead. Horvat leaving is going to suck but that's something I think that just has to be done. Doesn't seem like he controls the locker room at all. Him having a break out season hasn't helped the Canucks at all so why throw a bunch of money at him.

My problem with Provorov is he used religion as a shield. When in fact it is also against his religion to live with a woman out of wedlock, which he does! He's homophobic, not religious. If he was a real man, and not a hypocrite, he'd own it and not hide behind religion.
Team needs to focus more on diversity, equity and inclusion and less on hockey. Fans don't want success on the ice or 'winning' we really want diversity, equity and inclusion of equity and diversity in the inclusion of the equity and diversity and inclusion and equity and inclusion and diversity. Well I like Bruce but he’s to easy on his lazy players , they work hard till it’s time to get signed then they get lazy making millions but I’m signed now. Look at Miller great example Miller thinks he’s king on the ice he’s no better then them kids playing yes he can score if only if he’s set up most could score if they are set up. Miller is way way over paid he’s a slacker so the younger guys feel they can slack too

A coach with 600 wins on his resume shouldn't have to endure such public indignation; I'm guessing Rutherford is hoping Boudreau resigns to save the team paying out the remainder of his contract.
So if there’s not a pre-game celebration of some sub-culture then that sub-culture is excluded from hockey?
These guys can’t really be that simple.
Bruce is a good coach but run and gun hockey won't work with such a weak defence. Not a good fit sorry.
