I just hope everyone has fun tonight.
I made a comment like a week ago about the org losing a whole generation of fans, but the fact that this coaching shit is still dragging on with dead silence from the org is making me not just disenchanted but ashamed.
Remember 2011? Not the run or anything, just the feeling of being invincible and revelling in the hate from every other fanbase.
Now we even have alberta team fans pitying us in r/hockey. I’ve followed the team closely for well over 30 years. On average I probably watched 75 games a season. through all the years of shit seasons I’ve been mad at the team before, but I think for the first time I feel ashamed to be a Canucks fan.
This is the worst.
