I’m happy with this pick up. Howard’s been really inconsistent and if 2018-2019 is more of the same or if he gets injured again, I think Bernier would be a pretty decent starting goalie for Detroit. He only seems to be getting better.
Bernier is a great positional goalie. Very similar to Andersen with a bit less size. Both are very solid when the defensemen are doing their job and letting them take the shooter, and kinda weak when things start to get hectic. Also like Andersen he's brutal in shootouts.
Awood had to do something we all thought was impossible… search through a seasons’ worth of footage to create a highlight reel for a classic Toronto goalie.

He's hot and cold, inconsistent. Good veteran to have though, help out the younger guys
every one likes highlights only real hockey fans will enjoy the "boring" parts of the game! (when there are none even when you not a fan!)

Love his style
