I am a Caps fan but I even know that Jake Guentzel is a MILES better hockey player than Mitch Marner and it isn’t even close. Jake has a higher expected goal ratio which means his shots are more high danger, plus he is on pace for 40 goals this season, something Marner will never achieve. Also, Guentzel has 2 Stanley Cups and 25 playoff goals, Marner is a choker who can’t perform in big games. Guentzel is a top 5 winger in the league, Marner is not.

Guentzel is just a pure goal scorer. Always right place, right time. Hopefully he plays his whole career in Pittsburgh.
