i dont understand how we always live up to falling for the trap games. how many times does it take losing to bottom feeders like anaheim, arizona, montreal time and time again before they figure out they need to show up every game, even if they're not a playoff team. there's guys on that roster that have something to prove and have a chance because of injuries, they're not going to back down.

Leafs have to get rid of this "we are great." They go into the room after a dominant 1st period and come out with the attitude this is going to be easy. They do it all the time. That's why they beat the best and lose too the worst. As soon as they realize no game is going to be easy they will be ok. They have to get your heads out of your asses and understand they have to compete 100 % every game.

The Leaf players work hard and their coach has his hands tied – the GM structured the team in a way that it has fundamental flaws. They are an solid regular season team and exciting to watch. Many talented Leaf players just win their Stanley Cups a few years after they leave Toronto. Us Leaf fans just are loyal – Go Leafs go! Without a new GM we’ll likely just see more of the same.
