William Nylander had two goals and two assists and John Tavares added a goal and an assist against his former team as the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the New York Islanders 5-2.
Samsonov was really good, what a pass he made to Nylander on the Taveres goal. Nylander was really good with 2 goals and 2 assist, Samsonov got an assist. Keefe finally put Nylander back with Taveres and Marner back with Matthews. Great comeback win. Go leafs go!!!

Canada's team, the Leafs, finally bounced back after blowing a 2-0 lead to the Habs. The Leafs started off slow in the first, but the Leafs fought back in the 2nd and 3rd period. What a game. Next off, the Rangers! GO LEAFS GO!
I PROPOSE!!! that ANy time ANY player is taken DOWN for A PENALTY SHOT… the penalty shot is NOT automatically awarded~ the Receiving team can DECIDE if they WANT Penalty SHOT, or POWER PLAy!!!!
Isles are a really bad team, Toronto has really good skill. The disparity between a team who has added in the offseason, and one who patched it up with one defenseman.

Ever since Samsonov has come back from injury when Brad Marchand from the Bruins took a tricky penalty shot on him, he has made a great impact with the Maple Leafs! He deserves a 4th start in a row against the Rangers coming up. Congrats to Nylander for a great performance & now just one point shy from 400 career points 👉
"Nylander isn't worth the money, don't sign him" This was before the season started when he didn't sign yet and people talked so much smack saying he wasn't worth it. I wonder what they're saying now.
