I really want that projected 1st line to work. I think the kid line is more than a gimmick, I think it could be a powerful 2nd or 3rd line. And if those two lines work we need a LW upgrade for Trocheck and will have Gauthier, and Vescey on the 4th line. Thats a strong team.
I didnt mind the lineup with Trocheck & Krieder on the 2nd and get a RW upgarde for Bread and Mikka (and keep the kid line) but 20 & 93 seem to love playing together.
Regardless I want the kid line to stay. They can earn their ice time together and feel they are a needed part of the team, not some spare parts we hope work while the main guys do the heavy lifting.
I’ve got the way to win. Someone tell the Maple Leafs that it’s game 7 of the first round of the playoffs.
I’d rather Jakey boy be scratched and goodrow moved down and Kravtsov moved up to the line with trocheck but then again our coach is gallant still so I’ll see this if I’m lucky implemented in two months when he thinks about it
