Last year was out best shot yes, but when capitals won their cup, people also said that they were past their prime, so I wouldn’t get hang up on that.

You bring up a valid point forsling and Montour what are they worth. Kinda crazy I think they are studs but somehow our defense just sucks.
For most teams in this situation I would just say go for Bedard but umm… this is a unique situation where they have to win to make sure they have less of a chance of having a potential generational talent in their division in the future.
