I hate the Flyers and their love for the loser point
It’s a shame we play in the much tougher conference and IMO the toughest division because I think we could be a playoff team in the west.
Whole situation sucks because I love watching a Flyers team actually compete consistently (prob since Pronger was here) but it’s depressing we’ve been stuck in limbo since basically 2012.
Missing the days we were constantly a cup favorite. While a full rebuild would probably be smart, it’s hard to be mad at results of being close to .500 when I see Konecny taking big steps, Cates improving every night, York improving and other young guys finding their roles in the NHL.
Could only imagine what a healthy Couturier and Atkinson would do for this lineup (honestly not to sure either will ever be the same unfortunately). Also I see people losing hope on Farabee, but let’s not forget he had major neck surgery this offseason and came back well before the timeline projected.

I wish we had prime G and Jake on this current team. The effort, structure, speed etc is all there to be a good team. Good goaltender, lots of good young depth players. Just nobody in the top 6 worth a damn besides TK. Maybe Coots if healthy. Two more elite forwards and we probably start winning games like this more often.
