NHL Highlights | Blackhawks vs. Flames – January 26, 2023
Rookie Jaxson Stauber made 34 saves to pick up his second straight win and Boris Katchouk recorded a goal and an assist as the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Calgary Flames 5-1.
If Huberdeau didn't have slick hands this was a shutout Stauber was on fire and all but one forward had a point tonight And their captain was a scratch Good lord what happened to our tank?
its amazing how rent free the Flames are for oilers fans. they show up here for what purpose? flames lost, good on them i guess. not like the oilers are doing much better because of their horrible team balance. two of the best players in the league is great but they rest is filler on every other team that isn't tanking (players like Nuge or Hyman are capitilizing on the opportunity to play with Drai and Connor, most likely they would produce at mid rates on any other team). goalies and defense especially notable, shambolic roster.
Flames ain't making the playoffs lol, bunch of 30 year old ex-cup champs who have nothing to prove, playing inside of a broken down barn under the tutelage of an even more broken down 'coach'
As a Hawks fan there haven't been much to be happy about in a while, but atleast there are some players that makes it look like they could be worth building a team around. Domi, Laferty and Raddish looks like really talented guys who could be a good core going forward. Adding the promising Stauber in goal, they might actually have something in a few years.

Tonight was certainly the bottom-dwellers’ time to shine. Good win, Blackhawks👏👏 I really like Jaxson Stauber so far, he’s pretty good. Let’s hope he doesn’t start running out of the net like his father😄
