  1. not a leafs fan but i dont think nylander was ever bad i never understood why they hated on him such a good player

  2. I really hate to say this cause I like the guys on their own but damn these segments are not interesting or fun to watch

  3. Personally to all the people that thought nylander didn't deserve the money he got when he held out how do you feel now? He was always a great player and I think he's played for his money's worth

  4. None of TO's good players are not considered 'soft', if they were 'hard', they'd be the Cup favorites. All of that is on Dubas – soft GM – soft team. They'll never win.

  5. People forget that the first year matthews, nylander and marner played nylander was touted as the 2nd best player on the prospect list…he was also the ahl mvp before becoming a full time leaf

  6. Nobody ever denied his talent. The knock early on was his dedication and consistency – he took too many nights off. He has changed and is bringing it every night and the numbers are piling up. He's always had the ability and now he seems to understand what it takes to be the star player that he has become. I'm glad it has finally worked out.

  7. it could also be as simple as that he has developed and gotten better
