UPL gotta work on his shootout form. He comes out aggressive but he doesn’t close it down at all just kinda stands at the top of the blue paint which allows guys to deke around him. Very unlucky with the Kaprizov one but dang I woulda liked 2 points here we woulda been tied with PIT for the wildcard spot. Oh well 7/8 points is there on a road trip.

Krebs on the 4th line is wild to me. Hated it at the start of the year. Thought he was too skilled, not enough grit and it would hurt his devolmpent. Fuck was I wrong. He’s an absolute stud on that line. Completely different player than he was last year, and the skill is still there. Great move by Donny. Great mentorship by Ox and Girgs.

The Sabres performed admirably on this trip and have points in 7 straight games. There is no need to panic as pittsburgh lost in regulation tonight.
The Sabres also don’t play until Wednesday so they will have plenty of time to rest up to take on the juggernaut that is the Canes.
