Jack Hughes is definitely one of the most talented hockey players in the league. both of his brothers are also extremely talented but he's on a whole other level. His awareness, skating, stick handling, and shooting is just insane!
Ngl I was critical of him (and Kappo Kakko) when he was drafted, but he’s honestly developed into an amazing player. Looking forward to what he becomes
Beating the Stars in 3 on 3 OT this year is like an NHLer scoring on a Mite goaltender. Considering how good that team is even strength and how terrible they are in skills competitions, I'd kind of like to see the league go to a 3 point system and back to 4 on 4 or 5 on 5. I mean hooray for Hughes, but what a disservice to a fantastic game for 60 minutes. 3 on 3 doesn't even look like Hockey usually – just 5 minutes of keep away with maybe a scoring chance.

Safe to say the top two 2019 1st round picks aren't even close to a comparison anymore. Kakko has 23 points in 49 games, Hughes has 24 in his last 14.
