  1. Take note – this is the night that cemented this group as a team. If all goes well, this should inspire them to go on a tear after the all star break.

  2. the first few times this happened over the last decades was interesting, now it is patronizingly weird. what's next — randomly picking people to be in net in the last minute of a lopsided game???

  3. Did the NHL get rid of its rule against this? I hope so. EBUGs are always basically minor league caliber goalies anyways, there's no harm in it at all.

  4. He's only 25 so he has shoot at being a backup or a starter in the future if he develops good

  5. Imagine rolling into class Monday morning asking Matt how his weekend went and you absolutely pale in comparison.

  6. Desharnais couldn't let Berlin be the last one on the ice? I'm guessing he has a thing with that.

  7. Now Berlin can officially join the rest of the Oilers at the World Championships when the playoffs start.
