Despite a solid performance from Magnus Hellberg in net, Detroit’s offense couldn’t give him any support as they fall to the Islanders 2-0. It was a tired effort by the team on the second half of a back to back and they played poor defensivley as ususal. What can change during the All-Star break that will help the team? #lgrw

    This is the final season that I want Detroit to miss the playoffs. I'm hoping for the best outcome.🤞 Hopefully Larkin re-signs soon.

    At what point do we just embrace the tank for Bedard? Honestly at this point I kind of hope we fall off can manage to pickup a mitchkov or Carlson in this draft, could be huge for our offensive issues moving forward

    Detroit can right the ship by:

    1. Getting Bertuzzi as far as possible from their top line
    2. Bad to say, but as I’ve said before, the best thing that could happen to this team is Larkin having a season ending injury. (Cheaper contract for Larkin with the completion of the team’s lack of offense leading to only a few more wins the rest of the year, leading to a better draft pick.
    3. Never have that stupid “dad’s trip” again, where the team plays their next game completely hung over with no effort

    The Red Wings need another center and a pure goal-scorer as well as a solid defenseman or two and they'd be a playoff team.. but hang in their Red Wings fans.. It's a work-in-progress.. this team is just frustrating to watch this season

    Have you guys noticed that there passing is bad? If they cant pass, it hinders there scoring chances. Look at how many times during the season they blow a open guy to take a open net but they blow the pass. Another is they need to work on there shot accuracy

    Trade deadline, Bertuzzi, Lindstrom, Erne, are gone. Now there is also a slim chance that Hronek and Charrot could be traded
