They would do better if they did more of that on defense
Seven out of eight points on a road trip against very good teams. One point out of a wild card spot with a better winning percentage than one of the two teams in the wild card positions. Meaningful games after the All-Star break. It's finally a good time to be a Sabres fan.
That 8th point was potentially a tenth of a second away! Bummer, but still a good road trip. That month from hell was looking bad halfway through but we closed it out okay at 9-5-2.
What is the NHL thinking with this schedule??
