I’m expecting Holtz (also makes sense because the Eklund connection) plus a package of picks and prospects. Including their 2023/2024 unprotected first. We need at least one of those picks.

All apart of Doug Wilson’s terrible contract decisions and greed for Karlsson. Dismantled the entire franchise… we were in the WCF about 3-4 years ago… now bottom of the league for the foreseeable future.

The way the league fucks with Toronto on the waiver wire I doubt anyone would trade assets back just to sign Meier to his qualifying offer..
The leafs can’t sign him cause the have no room for another 9million dollar player and would be forced to give up assets to trade him.
