Perfect game, really fun to watch and we lose in regulation.

    Great game on all counts.

    – Very small sample but RHP is looking like a young 20-goal scoring Gallagher – been playing incredible since being called up and brings a much-needed burst of energy. Loved seeing him out there for 6-5.
    – Dach continues to be a tank. I can see a future universe with a 1A/1B of Caufield/Dach and Suzuki/Slaf duos.
    – Great to see Suzuki have a good game during his little slump/possible injury – two good assists and the second one to RHP was a beauty. Flashed some of the elite skill that makes me confident he’ll be at minimum a 70/80 point centre in a couple years.
    – Hoffman had a great game and has also been playing well lately – wonder if we can get a 4th or something for him at the deadline. Anderson is also the most likely to get a 1st round pick return imo and two points doesn’t hurt his case.
    – Icing on the cake is that we lost in regulation – really hope that we can have more games like this in February and that losing some vets at the deadline will push us to 5th pick territory.

Almost won that. Inexcusable. Losses only please!

  4. bcgrappler

    What a great game.

A few more from RHP and we will need to permanently make space for him. He looks like a very talented player.

I’ve always wanted to see him in the show and I am very impressed.

man, Raf Harv Chilli Pinard is turning shit up lately. Gotta be stoked for the guy, extremely hard worker finally getting some big-league payoff. Decent tank game! Dach with another one too. Hoping Suzuki gets some solid rest in he’s clearly got something nagging him.

If we won the Bedard draft lottery, they should hang the real MVP of this season at the Bell Center.

    This fucking ugly jersey.

  7. backwardzhatz

“The Montreal Canadiens have announced they will be wearing their reverse retro jerseys for the remainder of the season.”

  8. Sportsguy1223

Good lord the Sens are a loser franchise. Good night! Suzuki/Dach/RHP all looked good and a big tank W

  9. sean_psc

Lavallagher is great. Alas, we still have the original Gallagher on contract for another four years.

    *Disclaimer I was multi tasking*

    BAD*

    – This was a pretty good hockey game yet for some reason I couldn’t really get into it. One thing like tanking etc but I think the combined tanking plus injuries to Caufield, Slafkovsky, Guhle etc has really taken the passion out of it.

    – Barron I don’t mean to pile on but I just don’t see anything beyond average. Lotsaaa time left to show something and had some good games here and there but I am always honest In my assessment and doesn’t mean I’m right but just idk doesn’t do much for me unlike the other rookie d.

    – In general the defense is a massive L. It is what it is.

    – Not Savard’s best.

    – Pitlick wasn’t great either.

    *GOOD*

    – The thing with Harvey Pinard isn’t just that he’s scoring goals it’s how he scores them which indicated actually quite a bit of dare I say skill. First goal, he gets it up over the pad of the keeper otherwise it wouldn’t have gone in. How many times do we see a Habs player just shoot it at the pad? Second goal comes in makes a play with a shot then follows up for a rebound tap in, how many players follow that up? Good stuff.

    – Suzuki was better tonight. Most notably, a beauty pass to RHP for his first.

    – Just put Dach in the good every night.

    – Belzile.

    – Resurgence of Pezzetta. I doubt he’s going to be here long on the Habs but his play lately shows he can at least play in the league.

    – Anderson.

RPH should be in the starting lineup 2023-2024.

Incredible night for the tank, sens 2 points, caps 2 points and blue jackets got a lil point in OT. We might be getting Bedard if EVERYTHING goes right boysssss 😁

May be unpopular but i’m personally so tired to watch Allen play. I don’t understand why people like him. There’s always an early goal with him, and always a goal just after we score. I don’t understand why they do not take this season to keep developing Montembeault, he’s better he’s younger and we know Allen won’t be a long term G with us

  14. pichenet14

Anybody out there still think KK was the right pick? I imagine less now that he’s not a hab but folks clung to the KK argument far too long. Tkachuk is a beast.

Fucking Épinard est bon for your santé tabarnaaaK

Well, let’s see. We lost, which is sad. We played a fun game, which is great. Our captain actually looked invested this game, hallelujah. I would have loved to see Monty in net, though, because Allen tends to trend towards letting more goals in when we come from behind and continuously tie it. Game also seemed fast paced, which is always what I prefer.

  17. Montreal is now 1-9-1 with the reverse retros with 23 goals for, 48 goals against, and 2 shutouts against
