Probably should try to get PLD from the Jets. All Canucks should be trade material – just to change out the Canuck team structure to build a new better core.
The team has no playoff performers. Should of learned from the Sedin Era. Who cares if they played one good season, let's pay them based on what they can do in the playoffs. Offensive defenseman are a waste of money, there's no break out passing in playoffs. The middle gets clogged, the game slows down, it's all chip/ shoot in and chase. The teams that win cups have stay at home defenseman, 2 way forwards to do backchecks and power forwards to break thru the trap. The finesse game is dead, it's all crash and bang and capitalizing on turn overs/ mistakes. The canucks need all new systems that other teams haven't played against before. This is what made the Sedins good, but the league had caught on, making them a one trick pony.
They really should’ve gave that contract to Horvat instead of Miller. I guess what’s done is done. I highly doubt someone wants Miller. Imo it’s going to be Boeser, schenn, or Garland.

Demko, Hughes, Pettersson should be the untouchables for this Canucks team. Management says they want a retool, so idk why there’s rumours about Demko being traded. I rather trade Garland, Boeser, or Schenn.

They trade Demko cause then we will need a #1a goalie to go along with there defensive problems . Huges should be Captain. But the 3 bald stogies will name ballistic mustard head Jt Miller as captain. And have the remainding talented stars demand trades . So the Canucks will need all positions filled including fans in the stands.

If they can trade two of those 4 guys plus move Schenn then I think they will have done ok. Brock B should be an easy one but the other three not so much.

Boeser should be traded with Garland as a package to get younger players for future draft and Schenn traded to a Stanley Cup contender, and bring back Hoglander and Podkolzin and Rathbone from minors to get more nhl time….Myers and OEL should be traded in the off season if OEL giveup his no trade…..nobody wants u here buddy!

i am satisfied with the bo trade so far. we at least got pieces for somebody we would lose for nothing come next year. trade track records of canucks has been rather underwhelming over the years. "trades coming trades coming, we gonna trade him for some big pieces," and then lose timing, and then put on waiver system, and then got nothing and then disappear into the thin air and so forth and so forth. i'm glad something happened, and we got a good prospect, an nhler and a first round pick! patrik alvin at least made things happen, now i can trust him as wheeling and dealing gm at least. way to go alvin! we need more trades happen. trade everybody and give us canucks fans a fresh start!!!
Honestly if they free up space Horvat could come back in free agency for the contract they initially gave but changes have to be made
