My head is starting to piece things together. Ill do my best to distinguish fact from speculation and ive also got a feeling this may be a long one so strap in folks…
I remember hearing his name mentioned in regards to another franchise asking permission to interview him for another position. I would speculate that that interview took place and he vented something along the lines of "theyve got me locked into this dump and chase system doing xyz and it clearly isn't working." That would constitute "pre-scout" imo.
My speculation for internal riff would be him wanting to coach HIS system and win some games. I would also speculate that the back braking straw may have been when Dj, G and Brinx had that 'passionate' convo at practice, changed up their approach then went on a streak.
As far as timeline goes,
-Mann wants new system
-Sens say no, causes riff
-Mann interviews, mentions feeling chained to someone elses system that doesnt work.
-Players convince DJ to try their new system, unaware of the Mann convos.
-Sens go on a streak.
-Mann thinks "i just fkin said that, 4 times over the last month"
-Mann has 2nd interview, vents his 'I told you so' but with way too many details.
I will reiterate im using speculation to link together factual events that may not even be linked but its hard to deny that the pieces fit.

I did not see that coming for Try man. I thought he be an intern, if DJ was let go at some point. He deserved a shot in my view to impress new ownership.
I swear if this is a move to appease DJ I want the new majority owner(s) to fire both Pierre and DJ. You can't fire good coaches to appease bad ones. Just my take.

Dudes, IF you hire somebody to perform something that has a little sensitivity to it, and IF they leak the information to somebody else, are you going to hire that guy or the company they leak it too?? I don't think so. IF what you said is true, then it could easily effect dude's R.O.E. status and chance his future. Dude didn't like his hockey career? What a way to KILL a career IF that's what really happened. Does Dallas and their organization hire a SQUEALER? Toronto? etc etc etc.
