I was at sportchek and they both say pro jersey. Both are Adidas. But the blue is darker on one and lighter on another. Why do they have 2 colours out?

The darker blue is the jersey from the last couple of years, but this year we changed to the royal blue

I think the prime green are the newest jerseys

FWIW neither of them are the same as the on-ice jersey, but it’s the closest you can get at the retail level.

The lighter blue jersey is what they wear now but it’s made in Indonesia and is not the same to what’s worn on the ice. Team issues jerseys are made in Canada, and you can tell the difference by the material on the shoulders. Made in Canada jerseys will have more pronounced “dotting” on the shoulders. There are other differences but that’s the big giveaway. So even though adidas markets them as authentic jerseys, in no way are they authentic.
