The Kraken really need to improve their scoring ability. The poor shooting makes every opposing goalie look like Vesina winner quality.
It's getting to the point where I just want the season over and see what improvements are made by Francis and crew.
I am at the breaking point with Hakstol after the comment about the goalies. Why through your players under the bus like that? Not to mention all the other questionable stuff he has done like line shuffling and D parings this year. I just hope we get a new coach next year that will give us a true identity.
McCann also broke his stick against the boards after a rough shift earlier in the game (before the fight), so it seemed like he really needed to release some of that frustration for a while. And after all the animosity that’s built up between Seattle and Vegas this season, I can’t blame him.
The amount of "easy" goals in against us vs for us seems crazy. Gru has some part in that but overall seems we give away a goal every couple games, like olesiak yesterday.
Ah, well, I would also have preferred Driedger, but I am willing to believe (temporarily) Hakstol knows better. I was surprised at McCann (and Gourde), but the frustration was palpable and I can't really blame either one. Also willing to believe there was some preparatory chirping going on. If the Kraken have a rival, it's Vegas, so I think next season Vegas can look forward to being drubbed (hope). GO KRAKEN!
