I live in 🇨🇦 and haven't watched NHL in 3 years the officiating is the worst out of all sports in my opinion maybe when they get Bettman out of there it will be entertaining again
Offside reviews should be permabanned from the NHL.
I feel like this isn't the first time we've seen a challenge at an All-Star game though, right? Feel like the nHL should have had a plan for this to the refs and told them, "Guys. Don't take it seriously. Pretend you looked at the tablets and confirm the call regardless"

TOTALLY disagree that regular season offsides reviews are boring or drag the game out. If the officials would actually OFFICIATE no coach would have to bring up a missed offsides.
Your take that NHL fans don't like offside reviews because it slows the game is 100% incorrect. As a fan, I would rather see the correct call made, then a missed call have a direct outcome on the result of the game.

Hockey was awesome -the poorest professional sport, nobody gave a damn! If the refs were making bad calls? The fans followed them out of the game into the parking lot and let them know haha!
