Lol, I was sorta hoping for a still image because it really was a bad play by Z, and it clearly shows why mang and Kadri button-hooked and went straight for offense, because that’s the right play when you see this

Bad play by zads.. but at the same time..
Can we stop and appreciate how much better he has gotten this season? Last year he would bumble a pass to the boards 99% of the time to a give away. He has been skating and using his feet like he showed shades of last year. Tied for second in team plus/minus. Plus he may or may not be the Russian Peter Parker.

Fast forward to 2080 and I still am struggling to understand how he hasn’t got to that puck

When I look at this picture I see mostly a Sutter fail. When you think of the skills needed for 3 on 3, the fact that Zadorov is on the ice before strong skating and passing defense man who can finish (Weegar and Hanjfin) is really a coaching fail. I love Z but this is a poor use of personnel.
