  1. Definitely not the Canadian teams unless they’re selling. Quality players don’t waive their no trade clauses to go there. They like going to good teams.

  2. Canucks should trade Boeser and especially their older defenceman such as Myers,Schenn…OEL could be hard to trade though with that bad contract.

  3. The Maple Leafs are probably looking for D and perhaps more insurance in net. BUYER.

I think the Jets could be active as well. I'm not sure that they will make any blockbuster trades but I expect them to target a forward or two to bolster their middle and bottom six. They do have prospects in their system that they can move in a deal. It could be interesting to watch. BUYER.

The Oilers are looking for D and perhaps a depth forward as well. BUYER.

The Flames need to bolster their forward group. They think they can make the playoffs and get out of the Pacific. Like the Jets, don't expect a blockbuster. BUYER.

The Senators are a long shot to make the playoffs this season but could very easily be a playoff team next season. Look for them to add and subtract. BUYER/SELLER.

The Canucks just traded their captain. They need to move more bodies out and more picks in. SELLER.

The Canadiens are essentially in the same boat as the Canucks but have a brighter future as it stands now. SELLER.

  4. Patrick Kane to the Buffalo Sabres and he’ll re-sign there for the rest of his career. My prediction.

  5. A healthy Sean Monahan will help a team win a Stanley Cup this season, just as Lehkonen did with the Avs last year.

  6. It's every Oiler's fan's pipe dream to get in a few D-men in the tradition of Lowe, Huddy, and Coffey.

Unfortunately, Nurse's 8 mil buries that dream.

  7. Leafs haven't played consistent D since Reilly came back. Brodie should help solidify what they have but they still need a big, defensive-minded, physical, D man more than anything else.
